A friend sent me this pic asking if I knew anything about it. I don't. I figure the brain trust and available resources here on WIX would be able to shed some light. What and where - name the plane and place please!

That is the Halo II (high altitude observatory) G-IIB owned by L3 Communications. There is an infrared telescope in the hump. |

I had a good feeling there would be somebody on WIX that knew about this bird. Didn't expect such a quick response though. That was interesting reading about the L3 program. Thank you! |
