Where would I go to find market values for old (1917 +) autographed books? I have tried eBay, but these are fairly rare books. Thx, VL |

Thx, VL First place I'd check would be http://www.bookfinder.com For instance you could run a check on a book I have on my shelf - that happens to be one of my treasures. Search there for "From Pearl Harbor to Golgotha" by Mitsou Fuchida... Now frankly, I'd figure that you ought to take $50 off the price listed there if you really just want to sell it, but you never know... if you find the right buyer, you can do well. What kind of books? Ryan - the curious |

You might check with Connie and Ed Bowlin and see if they could help you. They run an aviation autograph business: http://www.aviationautographs.com/ Zack |

Two books signed by Rickenbacker around 1917 On book signed by Zeppelin around 1920 Thx, Vlado i' ve got a rickenbacker cancelled check from 1969 sign by rickenbacker, it's worth 135.00 as for count von zeppelin's' autograph...... you've got something pretty pricey their. the keys to value in old autographs is of course the person's fame, physical condition of the autograph, & if it's written in ink. pencil autographs aren't worth as much. also provinence of the signature. check out www.rockymountainrarities.com they specialize in the truly rare stuff. also try www.r&rrarities.com all they do are autographs. good luck vlado & keep me posted!! |
