While going thru my stash prior to recent move, I found nine uncropped 1945 NAA images of a rather unique nature. These semi-sequentiual images were obviously taken as part of a set to document assemby line P-51H landing gear details. They show inside of wheel wells, plumbing, legs and linkages, wheel and brakes, hydralics, and the uncovered truss assembly of the entire tail wheel mounting. Clarity is such that many minute details, such as doodles by NAA workers and individual parts stamps, etc. are quite legible. The NAA numerical catalog listing appears in lower rt of each 8x10 B&W image. As far as I know, these rare images have never been published.
I am offering high quality, high resolution photo print copies in limited edition packets. Individual photos numbered and assigned to a specific packet and countersigned. Each first edition packet numbered 1-50 (50 total). Priced substantially (50%) lower than similar photos offered by museums, etc. I'm asking $54.00 for each packet of nine images, postpaid within US. BTW- my well recieved, but getting quite ancient, P-51B/C and P-51D/K drawings are still available. 1/16 scale, four 24"x36" sheets covering each set/type. $40 each , sent rolled and postpaid in US. Add $10.00 outside US. (see payment terms above).
