This ex Sunderland flew civilian flights out of Sydney Harbour mid 1960s. Whereabouts now known?

I spotted this same aircraft in Sydney in November 1964. At the time it was at anchor near Double Bay and marked in "Airlines of NSW". If my memory serves me correctly it was used for flights to Lord Howe Island a few hundred miles NE of Sydney. According to the brochures it was a Short Sandringham which indeed is a converted Sunderland.

FWIW, both Mk.III and Mk.V Sunderlands were converted into Sandringhams.

Hi mate, these two links will help explain the flights out of Sydney etc by these gorgeous machines.

Not sure whether your pic is of Islander or Beachcomber but, covering both bases, the former is with Kermit Weeks and the latter is in the UK, Southampton, IIRC. Good news all round.
