OSH 2012 Album 1: T-6s (part 1)

I've finally post-processed most of my Airventure pics and have a hundred or two to share. At this point nothing about Oshkosh 2012 is news any longer, but I got pics of some planes that I haven't seen posted before, and some different angles on the ones we've all seen.
So as not to waste anyone's bandwidth loading more pics than they want to see, I'll limit each thread to 25-30 pics. For any who can't wait to see all my pics, click here and browse the sub-albums.
For my first post or two, I'll show the T-6/SNJ/Harvards a little love. I didn't shoot every T-6/SNJ, although I tried to get all the Harvards and any T-6/SNJ that presented itself for a decent shot.
Evocative opening shot.
N107FG, AT-6D 44-80858 dressed as an SNJ-5. That gray and yellow Navy scheme looks great on anything.
N55720, T-6G 49-2920. Photos of this one from a few years ago don't have the checkers I assume are inaccurate.
N584M, T-6G 49-3584. Nice entry from the Warbird Heritage Foundation. Bit of an oops on the US insignia.
N7054X, AT-6C dressed as SNJ.
N3717G, T-6G 49-2936 "Prime Time".
N8894, Harvard Mk.II FE986, dressed as SNJ.
N3931R, don't know model or serial, but dressed as SNJ-5 84923.
N85696, AT-6D 42-85696, very handsome aircraft.
N1666T, SNJ-5 43725.
N545GW, AT-6 42-17575 painted as SNJ-3.
N22NA, T-6G 49-3222, flown in a nice acro -- sorry, aerobatic -- display by Bill Leff.
The Aeroshell guys, always impressive to see and hear.
N98RJ, SNJ-5 90752.
N87H, AT-6D 41-34571, race 87 and marked as a P-47 or something.
N796WM, AT-6D 41-34011 and ex-SAAF, nicely marked as an SNJ.
N36CA, AT-6C/Harvard IIa 41-33557, ex RAF EX584, SAAF and Portugese AF, now painted as SNJ. Whew!
N515SA, AT-6C/Harvard III 41-33936, Ex RAF EX963 and SAAF, dressed as a postwar T-6.
Didn't record the tail number of this one, purportedly an SNJ-5, wearing a lighter gray than I usually see on this scheme.
"Miss Appropriation (of Funds)", N5FJ SNJ-5 51811, is more like how I see the scheme usually rendered.
Again I didn't catch the serial of this alleged SNJ, nice paint job though.

Great bunch of photos August, thanks for putting them up here. Checkers seem to be popular with the T-6 crowd! The insignia on the WHF T-6G is hard to look at and completely ruins the paint job in my opinion. I have something of an "issue" with incorrectly rendered stars-n-bars though, I will admit to that.
