The uncuffed prop is the HS 24D50-105 "paddle blade" unit - the "K- canopy" as you put it is one of the so-called Dallas-types... and this a/c indeed was built at the Dallas, TX factory, thus the P-51D-25-NT suffix (vs. -NA for Inglewood, CA)

WoW! Good info.

I thought P-51's built at NA Dallas were C/K models, and NA Englewood were B/D's.

How can I do more indepth research on P-51's? Recommended Book?
