Cleaning out the office and found some photos and a "calling card" from an old friend. He passed away a few years ago so I'm not sure if these photo images he gave me are from an early AC-130 or the C-119K that he crewed during his time with the 18th SOS in Vietnam. Can any one ID this setup? I've got several more images but they only show internal gun and systems detail, they don't show the exterior of the plane. Thanks,

Al,

IIRC from books on the subject, "Stinger" should be a radio call or a nickname for an AC-119.

The boxed area for the landing gear and the crew door in the last shot identify these as AC-130 shots even though the business card says "Stinger".

It's an AC-130. The floor, crew entry door, fuselage shape and wheel well seat mounts are a dead giveaway.
