Hi Everyone: Thanks to the help I received on this site we now have our T-33 almost done, all we lack is some tire work. Since it is to be displayed outside because of lack of room the AF grey was used to protect it instead of the natural aluminum it should have. Other than that the markings are correct for when it served with the 4780th Air Defense Wing ( Air Defense Command), Perrin AFB, TX. in 1965. We think it came out good so I thought I’d share a few pictures with all of you. Now all we need is a set of tip tanks. You can see more of our stuff at www.indianamilitarymuseum.org Again thanks for the help. Frank Roales ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Frank, She's beautiful. You guys did a great job! Looking at your web site pictures it looks like you have a second T-33 project. Or am I mistaken? I will be in the market for a T-bird project here shortly if you know anyone local (upper midwest) who has one for sale.... Thanks for the progress report, and keep up the great work! Steve ![]() |

Steve: If you're talking about the Blue and Gold one, those are the early puictures of of this one after we got it together but before the military paint. Frank |

Good lookin' T-33 there! Are you going to install wing-tip tanks or leave it as is? Either way, looks good. I'll have to make a visit down there sometime. |

Frank Hi Frank, No, I realized the blue painted '-33 is the same aircraft as your finished product. What I was talking about was the picture of the gray fuselage sitting on blocks in the grass sans gear legs, wings, and tail feathers. It's the last T-33 photo in the restoration section before your ground artillery pieces. http://www.indianamilitarymuseum.org/ap ... ID=4690271 Thanks, Steve ![]() |

Steve: OK, didn't know that picture was on the web. Yes this T-33B gun ship is on hold. We don't know what we are going to do with it yet, parts are scattered all over the museum storage facilities. Matt: Come on down, I work as a guide every Wednesday 12:00 to 4:00 (Eastern tine) we don't have tip tanks for it but they are on our want list. Know where we can get a pair? Frank |
