CF-104 fatal accident near Nellis AFB, NV, 1979. Pilot violated Dreamland buffer zone during Red Flag exercise.

The Canadian accident report stresses the somewhat constant fear and trepidation pilots had of penetrating Dreamland during the exercises as it meant immediate grounding and a ticket home. Unfortunately this pilot did exactly that.
