The U.S. Government and the U.S. Military are ramping up to have the next extravaganza in Africa! Apparently we have not wasted enough billions in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have not learned to stay out of local disputes/ wars between tribes, ethnicities and religious sects, etc etc.
Notice the increased media attention to what's going on in Ivory Coast? wanna bet that they're gonna get the U.S. involved in something that has nothing to do with us?
AFRICOM headquarters is in .... wait for it..... Stuttgart Germany! Why? because no african country wants the U.S. Military there! So we have a headquarters of thousands in one of the most expensive cities in the world! Where housing for all of the personnel is thousands of dollars a month per person!
The problem in africa is the same as in the middle east and other parts of the world: little/ no education, no law to speak of, no economic opportunity. That is not spelled "Al Quaida". And it's not solved by military force.
please let everyone know that the US military needs to stay the heck out of africa!!!!
