Boeing is moving ahead with starting fabrication on the KC-46 with assembly of the first external boom @ KBFI.
A friend who was on the 767 line tells me that once the tanker gets going, among the items to be banned from the production area will be rings, bracelets, watches and cell phones by order of the Air Force, so no wiggle room for the business agents for the IAMAW.
I dealt with AFPRO on AWACS and a lot of folks are in for a very rude awakening particularly when it comes to F.O.D. control pop2 :lol:
