It took nine months of hard work in poor conditions to repair the C-17 to the point they could ferry in back to Long Beach for final repairs.

Boeings AOG and MDC's RAM folks work wonders on amazingly short schedules under extreme conditions fixing up some very hosed up aircraft. :prayer:

Now in Long Beach for repairs and should be back in service sometime in 2014. The repair cost will be significantly less than the cost of a replacement aircraft.
