The other day I watched a show on Nat Geo called, Drain the Ocean; WW2. I found it most interesting. In it they showed how the USS Arizona, the Bismark, a U-Boat off of N Carolina and DD Tanks off of Omaha beach would look like today if you could somehow drain the water away from where these wrecks lay. They also showed a landing craft (not an LST) that obviously had been pulled up from the seafloor someplace. They did not talk about this landing craft other than to say it was used to transport tanks to Normandy. Anyone have info about this craft? Where is it and when was it pulled up?

I hadn't heard of this and was amazed to hear it's the last surviving D-Day LCT.
Restoration complete by 2019 it says - another incredible recovery.
