Guess that B-26 part!

Hi guys, Found an actuator of some kind for a B-26 in box and know nothing about it. So, who thinks they have a clue!

It looks to me like it may have been part of the top loading agitator. It triggered the spin cycle... Oh wrong Maytag :lol:

Greetings,

From the pic, looks to me to be the upper nose trunion that actually articulates the nose wheel 90* while retracting into the gear well....
Back in the 40's, Corps. were selling mfg rights to numerous obscure companies to develope and fab parts & accs, obviously in order to increase production.. All in the name of the war effort....
