This sounds like a great opportunity for one of the big shippers (UPS, FedEx, etc.) to get on board to ship the crate to various locations free in exchange for a little advertising and show support to the old vets.

Try Unishippers. https://www.unishippers.com/Index.html
They buy bulk capacity on all the carriers and pass the savings on.
Typically much less than an individual or company calling a shipper. You have no leverage to get a discount.
You won't have the same carrier with each shipment typically. Ours varies between Old Dominion, Yellow and A Duie Pyle.
They also do the same with UPS if you lack an account of your own.

Can anyone recommend a Shipper that will send items to Australia. One that can pack items would be VERY useful.

You might have to hire a crating service company to pack and build crates/boxes and can coordinate shipping.

Otherwise possibly a restoration/A/C Service Company with experience doing this for there own parts/customers might be able to be hired.

Assuming those you are purchasing the parts from aren't capable?

B45,

I used Navis Pack and Ship to collect, crate and ship my last ADC Cirrus engine from Idaho to Brisbane. Very professional and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Be warned though, it cost me as much to "spring it over the fence" with BS taxes, Customs, Quarantine and other charges here in Oz, as it cost to get it all the way from Idaho to the Port of Brisbane.
