T-6 questions for the experts

Sorry to bother you guys but I was hoping someone could answer a few quick questions. The T-6 is an all metal monoplane, not including the flight control surfaces which are fabric covered, except for the trim tabs, correct? The landing flaps are metal correct?

The cockpit, is it just a tube framed interior, as in there is no actual floor?

The reason I ask is because I'm modeling a pair of the revell kits an I'm gonna skin with aluminum foil rather than paint.

The cockpit in the kit has just a tube frame for the interior with no floor, I'm trying to figure out how to deal with that, add a floor under the tubing or not. What color to paint the inside of the fuselage itself, interior green I presume? I'm gonna doo these up as WWII era stateside trainers.
Thank you fellas for any help.

The floor is actually the top of the wing. There are two sheet metal foot troughs under the rudder pedals for the pilot and guy in back that mount to the steel tube frame above the lower tubes. From the trailing edge of the wing to the fuselage tailcone there is a sheet metal fairing on the bottom. So basically, there is no floor in the conventional sense.

Everything is metal except for the control surface covering. The trim tabs are aluminum as well, but were often painted with the same silver dope used on the control surface itself.

One more question, while sitting inside the cockpit, wht color would the inside of the camopy framework be? Interior green or just natural metal?

WWII was natural metal AFAIK.
At overhauls they may have been painted black in some instances.
I believe T-6G production they were painted black.

You have brought back a "good" memory from my days as an SNJ 5 plane captain.('56) Forgot about the rear floor pans.
