I've recently gotten serious about aviation photography and after joining a series of boards, it has led me to this site. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, my father used to take me to Abottsford every year or so to see the airshow during it's prime. I saw things as a child in the late 80s, early 90s that we never be seen again. I got involved with plastic model building as an obvious outlet to my interest in airplanes. I moved up to remote controlled airplanes in my teens, but got sidetracked with cars when I turned 16. Still sidetracked with cars, but with my job building 787 Dreamliners, it has rekindled my love afair with airplanes. Now I have a few thousand dollars worth of camera and lenses for a hobby that is quickly burning another financial hole in my wallet.
