Walter J. Boyne, Col. USAF (Ret.) has flown on. His books are some of the first true aviation books I ever bought and his contributions on TV, on Film, and in books have shaped much of what we know about the history of aviation on many topics.

Sorry to hear this. I had the fortune to get to meet him once, and hear him speak. A true gentleman; he will be missed.
