Warbird Information Exchange

This is a recent photo of a Mariner Cockpit sitting in what appears to be a "fresh water" stream in the Caroline islands, (no apparant corrosion??) it would seem perfect to make a fantastic Mariner display for Pensacola.

I agree with mark though. It would make a nice, although be it a Large cockpit display.

I wonder if the Navy would still be picky over ownership ? It's not a complete airframe, and it's not really submerged.

If the NHC keeps trying to salvage the PBM in Lake Washington, all they'll have left will be a Cockpit.

Didn't they try to get the Pima county Mariner? I seem to remember reading that they had looked at flying it to Pensacola.
