A friend and I took a trip up tho the museum on Sat. Out tour guide was a former B-26 pilot that flew 65 missions. He had some great stories, and the museum looked great. The MAPS people are doing a great job.

What's the story on the TBM?

Looks pretty hacked up.

We've joked about using it for fire practice for the Line Crew! :D

Did your tourguide take you into the new museum room in the hanger? If so, what did you think?

That was funny Phantom, as I thought that I saw you as well, but didn't want to look like an idiot and say something. I plan on going back out soon. It is only like 2 hours form my house tp MAPS, so I might become a volunteer. My tour guide was great. He did take us to the new room. You guys at MAPS have done an amazing job with the whole facility and collection. I worked on the B-26 when it was at Air Heritage years ago. I was 13 then! It looks great. I will post some more pics of my trip.

Here are some pics of the some of the aircraft at the museum, and the crew that brought the F-14 in. She is one great looking RIO. The O-2 looks great as always and is a real time capsule.
