Folks -

Just spoke with Bill Greenwood, and he had a very nice flight in the Spitfire from Baton Rouge over to Galveston today...for those of you not living around here, the weather in SE Texas is absolutely perfect right now.

Apparently, though, a filter on the community computer at Bill's hotel blocks out sites with the word "war" in the domain name, so Bill can't get on WIX (!).

Anyway, he said the B-25, P-47, and F6F were out when he got in. The great weather looks to continue through the weekend, so everyone in the area should definitely come out for the Lone Star show.

Well Mudge, you might want to contact ARC/Historic Flying, as, according to an article I read, their TRIX can take a backseat passenger up to 260 lbs!

DB2,

Good to hear Bill had a good flight. Shame about the hotel internet filter.

Cheers

Paul

Bradburger...you had me going there for a moment. "What the h--- is a TRIX?" Then I realized you were referring to this. The Tr. 9.

I, somehow, don't have a picture of ARC saying, "Righto mate. Jump right in."

Sorry Mudge, but I thought I'd spell it's like it's UK civil registration before HFL purchased her - G-TRIX.
