Hey guys and gals those pics of the Shawnee in the other thread got me thinking. There used to be one on display at the EAA museum. Now the last few years down there, it has been parked over at the Basler (spelling) DC-3 ramp. Anyone know what the deal is with that thing?

The nice lady at the Basler front desk responded to that very question about a month ago. As far as she knew it was just being stored there for the current owner, and that there were no current plans to restore.

Does it belong to the EAA?

If it is same one I am thinking of it belonged to Dr Bill Harrison. He used it one year to ferry a group of folks to the Fond du Lac Pizza Hut Parking lot and back to OSH...
