I'll stay tuned on this and when it gets here, I'll go grab pics as soon as I can.

Very cool! Do you know where it is going here in the states, or is it staying with the Fighter Factory?

I can e-mail the MiG-3 pictures to someone and they can post them, as I don't know how to post pictures.

Warbirdfinder, I can post the pics if you like so long as they are your personal pictures and no copyright violations are being broken.

Just when you think you've seen it all, another one-of-a-kind warbird restoration makes its debut! 8) The MiG-3 is by far one of the most attractive fighters of its era. It'll be a privilege to see it fly!

That looks like about the smallest airframe they could make that wraps around the pilot and engine.

The nuke plant in the background of the last picture....try that in the USA...

Looks like a tight fit inside that cockpit!

Wonder if somebody could put together a "Iron Birds Flight"

Mig 3, Yak 9, I-16, I-153, Mig-15, Po-2,

or a Russian Heritage Flight even!? :D

Chris,

The ever dreamer.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw it in the background,

Very nice pictures! I hope the FF starts having fly days or a "airshow" some time at their new airfield.

Anyone know the status of Their other projects?

Tim

Huge congratulations to everyone involved with getting this MiG back into the air!!
It looks like a very cool fighter and I can't wait to see it at airshows here in the US.
