So There I am getting ready to enjoy my saturday morning by going through some gifts my parents brought back for me. They recently came back from a week down in Panama Beach FL with a quick one day juant over to NAS Pensacola to see the Naval Aviation Museum.

Well lets just see what's in the bag I say, Oh some patches for my collection (CVN-70, CV-67, CVN-65, CV-64, Tomcat F-14A+ and a USN Surface Warfare Patch.) A NAS Pensacola pen, a USN Ball cap and T-shirt, a copy of The Desert Fox DVD and a copy "WARBIRDS OF WORLD WAR II, WINGS TO VICTORY"

So I say I'm up for a Warbird flick right now. Pop in the DVD and halfway through who's smiling face do I see giving commentary on the P-51 and P-47? Our very own resident Jack Cook. Of course the rolling eyes  came from my wife when I said "Hey I know that guy". Needless to say I enjoyed the DVD. Lots of footage I hadn't seen before and the Vet interviews were great. Didn't think Jack got as much face time as he should have but was still good stuff. Even noticed that Jack's name wasn't even in the credits, What's up with that?

Now i'm moving on to that Desert Fox movie. :D

So Jack when's your next cinematic appearance?

My good best buddy John(who unlike myself is successful  ) worked for Dynamix in Eugene which made these historical videos. John did all the research, interviews, wrote the scripts and appears in many of them. I often hooked him up with vets I knew to be interviewed. A couple of times due to cancelations or timeconstraints he crossed my arm with my shoulder blade and forced me into the interview(ees) seat
