Gang, Check Out this authentic WW2 FALLSCHIRMJAGER Film!!
They capture a Bridge over in Holland early in the War. All those Original Fallschirmjager Helmets are now worth over $1,000 each. Also note the JU-52's with the rare MG-15 Turret Mounts...

My Brother's Wife's Father was an Armorer in the Luftwaffe. He has several photos of Himself working on those same style turrets. One or two of these photos were sent to the CAF years ago for research.

Here's a photo of Walter & His Wife, She was a Luftwaffe Air Controller.

The Grandkids have some interesting relatives. One Grandfather was in the Luftwaffe, the other was in the AAF.
They could all care less of course, but I think it's cool... Digger

My Grandfather served in to Dutch army. He survived the war and had many storys to tell. Thanks for sharing that video. I'ts kind of strange though because the video is in German but, the text is Dutch.

I found that Film on the WW2 Reenactor's Forum from Germany.
Believe it or not, the Germans are now allowed to Reenact WW2 in German Uniforms, Vehicles & Everything.
Here's a few of thier Forums:

There's lots of interesting stuff here:

I have dozens more of His Luftwaffe Photos & will dig them out later. He took lots of them. I'll try to post a few more. "Walter" was a very interesting character. He served briefly in Adolf Galland's Squadron. He said He didn't like Galland, because of His extreme arrogance. Always being a show-off with that darn cigar...

Walter was in Dresden during the Fire Bombing. Many interesting stories there. He finally wound up in a Last Ditch Luftwaffe Armored Unit after they ran out of aircraft. They were ordered to KEEP FIGHTING the Russians, even after the War ended. His Armored Unit was delivered the wrong sized "88 Rounds". Apparently there were 88 Short & Long Rounds. They got the wrong ones & had to surrender to the Russians...

He & a friend escaped one night & turned themselves in to the Americans. Ha! Ha! The Americans gave them back to the Russians. He spent the next 5 Years in a Russian Prison Cave & wasn't released until 1950. He then moved to Bensonhurst, NY & opened a Deli. Then He moved to Lakehurst, New Jersey & became a Locksmith. He died last year & His ashes were buried on a quiet mountainside in Germany... Digger
