Does anyone have contact information for Fairchild PT-19 parts? We are looking for a center section, wings and tail for a project. FMI- www.warbirdrecovery.com.

WIXer Steve Dennis would be a good start.

Slightly-used center sections are like hen's teeth, but if Steve doesn't have the Cornell bits you need I'm quite sure he'd be able to connect you with the next likely source.

Mr. Dennis...paging Mr. Dennis...

The guys at the Gulf Coast Wing -CAF- had a tail group for sale back in 2007. I bought the vertical stabilizator, but they still had then, the rudder and elevators, and these were in good shape.

Spanner MkIV was my contact through WIX and he was a real pal. Nice guy.

Good luck.

Sorry, Sorry, I was in the bathroom.

It never fails, as soon as you get in the bathroom, the phone starts ringing....

The picture on your website kind of looks like Pat Soltus' old bird. Did you guys buy Pat's project? It's kind of hard to tell from the photo.

Anyway, feel free to PM me, and I will be happy to go over what surplus bits I might have as well as to give you some good leads on some master woodworkers who can help you out.

Steve

Steve, does Bob Dunn have any spares that big ? I know that he and Neal were talking about building a second plane prior to the accident.

Rick,

It's been a while since I last talked to Bob, but he sure could have.

I know where there are some good bits lying around, it's just hard getting the owners to part with them.

I think we can come up with some pretty good leads for Mr. Page though...

Steve
