For those of you on the Left Coast, the world's last flyable C-133A
Cargomaster is being readied for a flight to a museum in the lower 48.
It's now in Alaska, but if they raise enough money in time, it will be
flown to McChord AFB on 30 August at 10:30 am to open the air show. It
will later be flown to Travis AFB for preservation.
It may not quite equal seeing the restored Vulcan in the air, but I
think it still would be pretty impressive to see a C-133 flying or even
just on static display. More info:
