About two weeks ago I was up camping near Goderich, ON when I noticed a B-25 flying around, so me and my dad headed over to the airport. When we arrived it had just landed and parked on the tarmac. It turned out to be the Fighter Factory's B-25J "Wild Cargo" it had just finished getting it's new paint job and was doing a quick test flight before heading back to Virginia Beach. A company based at the airport called Sky Harbour Air did the paint job on the B-25 and on some of the other aircraft owned by the Fighter Factory

There was also and Albatros at the airport with a new paint job, I'm not sure who owns it though. Before the B-25 departed the Albatros went up and did a few really low flyby's.

I'm not sure who owns it but I do know it is from Delaware.

Is it "from" Delaware, or is it registered to a corporation in Delaware for tax purposes? Big difference. I think about 40% of warbirds are registered in Delaware, LOL!

One of the guys at the paint shop told us that they were from Delaware.

Thank you for the kind comments! It was a labor of love from all concerned, not least Sky Harbour Aircraft who did a fantastic job of the base scheme before we arrived to apply the nose art and stencilling scheme. My friend and colleugue Alec Kinane painted the nose art - all done by hand. The design was developed closely with the aircraft owner and the end result reflects his ideas pretty closely.

Wild Cargo also has a full factory stencil scheme applied - not sure if any others have this (perhaps Apache Princess?) and it took a long time to achieve it. The artwork and stencilling alone took around 120 hours to finish - we were pretty tired when we finally took off for Erie (in Wild Cargo :) ) after a week of very late nights. Fortunately the pubs of Goderich do not close too early.

The intention is to house the B-25 at the new airport site in Virgina Beach.

Thanks Django - yes we based her pretty closely on the 40's comic renditions of Sheena so she had the correct period appearance.
