Which P-40 is at the Fargo Air Museum? I checked the P-40's in the registry but could not find it. Thanks

Ron Fagen's(formerly Gerry Beck's) P-40E AK753/N4420K is a regular visitor at the museum. I don't know of any other P-40 at the museum.

I wasn't previously aware of that(AK863) one. Perhaps one of the other midwest WIXers can shed some more light on this.

Yes, he does still have it and is hoping it will be ready for Oshkosh '05....a tall order I am told!

He has also recently added two more projects to his list, another P-40 (Very early model) and a combat vet P-51! I'll leave you all to sleuth out which airframes these are!

John

PS: The Red Tail is made huge progress. At this point my target date of June '06 is really looking like a reality if funding comes in....if not :(

Would the Mustang be "Double Trouble Two" reported to be coming to the states from Switzerland? Just a guess.

Never mind my last post. According to the forum over at mustangsmustangs.com Double Trouble Two is apparently going to the Fighter Factory! see www.fighterfactory.net/flyable/p-51d-mu ... rcraft.htm
