There is an article about Airpower Unlimited in the March 2005 issue of Flypast.
In it a large PV-2 Harpoon under restoration for an individual from Indiana features, I wonder why this has not been featuerd so much in other magazines especially 'over the pond'
Anyway, the article was written by Scott Thompson and in it there are photos of 2 Corsairs: FG-ID (92106) and FG-ID (92436). These have spars fitted to either complete or partial fuselages and wing stubs attached, (the spar on 92106 is painted restoration 'green/yellow')
However, there is a third spar in a jig all on its own.. It is painted 'green/yellow', now I have heard that the Spar is the main problem on Corsairs. Is this one from a third article, or a spares recovery or even new?
Most of the photos were taken by Scott Thompson (except 1 by John Lane) so I asume all were taken at the same time...
