Last month I posted a report on my trip to the Yanks Air Museum in Chino, CA....

The problem is that I have not been able to ID all of the airframes. I have already received some help (see list at end of this edditted posted), but there are still some that remained unidentified and I could use more help!

...Thanks to BDK we have narrowed this one down to; c/n 469 c/r N3865B, or, c/n 538, c/r N374K. Do you know which of these two this airframe is?

...This is of course a Curtiss Jenny, one of two at the museum. I have not been able to find an ID for this one, but I know it is not c/n D-51. Do you know the s/n or c/n?

...I think this is a CH-3 Pelican. Apparently the museum has two of these airframes, but I don't know the ID of either. Do you have a s/n, c/n or c/r for this airframe.

...This is a Phantom, but I didn't note the s/n. There seems to be a marking on the aft fuselage, but even with the hi-res original I can't read it. Does anyone know the ID of this airframe?

Thanks to Chris and m50a1ontos: This appears to be a test rig for ejection seats. The crosses on it could be for reference when filming slow motion test footage while possibly on a rocket sled. It may have been built to represent the cockpit of a T-45.

The Hunter is T.7 XL576 ex-N576NL. It crashed in Arizona in 1999.

Airframe 1
Vultee BT13B marked M/434 civil reg N4425Y c/n and mil serial not confirmed as when registered museum reportedly could not prove id so used 42-89607!

Airframe 2
NAF N3N-3 N44757 2621

Airframe 7
F14A serial 162607 coded 204 on other side of nose should be coded 232

Airframe 9
CH-3E 62-12578

Airframe 11
B52F 57-0042 ex Santa Monica museum

Airframe 12
A4B 142892

Not sure what the #'s are on the two but they are Sikorsky HH-52 Sea Guardians and not HH-3 Pelicans.

I read somewhere that Pima had several airframes that have sinced moved on.

That "training aid" is a rocket powered ejection seat test sled. Not sure off hand which aircraft it represents...T-45?

Actually I think that one is the Jenny that they have fully restored. It is on the floor underneath the Jenny without skin hanging from the ceiling.

Thanks for all your info, it helps. If you happen to be driving by Yanks some time, could you see if there are any markings on the F-4 that might help ID the airframe?
