Well folks, despite warnings to the contrary and the mandatory lowering of the bar they let him in and gave him a car!.

So today found Mr and Mrs Patterson of Hicksville USA arrive at sunny Duxford in the UK. Cambridgeshire is enjoying unseasonably clement weather for this time of year. Despite this Patterson (hereafter known as The Yank) complained about it being cold at every opportunity. The Yank even had the temerity to question the sanity of the nice gentleman flying a Tiger Moth in the circuit this afternoon.

The Nimrod under maintenance, it looks like the cowling could do with a polish. Any volunteers Robbo?

The Yank deciding that there may be a future for him in the Senior Service after all. “look its just my size”

Its still here and probably still for sale. No matter how diminutive The Yank is, he still would struggle to fit in the Cosmic Wind!

Postcard to home. Missing you all, weather here, wish you were lovely (I think the smiles had frozen onto their faces by the time this was taken).

Latest venue for slagging off Forum Members, the Red Lion at Whittlesford.

A cracking day out was had by all, even Mrs P. At least that’s what she said when we defrosted her.

Thanks MotF for the pics., the Nimrod is looking sharp! A Blenheim I
nose? What is that "boilerplate appearing" structure supporting the
"midget sub" sign that Steve is pointing to? Thanx again...
