Does anyone have any info and or photos of this aircraft? Even the whole story? I am trying to pitch this as the paint scheme to use on the Grissom Restoration. I think it would be a real attention getting aircraft. Some one in the Grissom Thread suggested it, and we think it is a great idea.

The only Half & Half I know of was a B-26C.
I think he coolest B-17G scheme is the "Lady Satan" of the 452nd BG!

There's also "Little Miss Mischief" from the 91st BG.

Foreman's B-17 nose art directory lists 2 "Half & half" and 4 "Half and Half"; 2 with the 100BG, 1 with the 306BG, 1 with the 385BG, and 2 unlisted.

'Arf and 'Arf was one I have colorized with my trusty free photo editor software. I have a bunch more, if anyone might be interested, I'll try to upload to photobucket and post ?

Just in case anybody does'nt know, " Arf n Arf " is the ' English ' pronunciation of half-and-half, a drink popular with the Yanks in England consisting of half ale and half stout.

Ciao.
Others have responded. You are probably, just probably, referring to Little Miss Mischief.
She was a composite airframe:half was Boeing Wichita, half was Lockeed Vega.
Half was in camo, the resat was NM.
Cheers !

I really like the "Little Miss Mischief" aircraft as a potential candidate. For me visually, I think it looks better with the front half polished than the rear half.
