), the cockpit is being pretty much stripped, panels - seats and all, and then they are going to paint the canopy. Supposedly a certain *other* museum acquired an F-14 from our beloved Navy, and sometime later when the Navy dropped in to check on
their F-14, they found a few items missing! Such as the instrument panel (and of course all the gauges), and some other stuff. It seems that the museum sold these items to raise some funds, and you can imagine how the Navy felt! Of course, that's just what I hear
