Thanks, y'all.
Just some facts: We flew back at 10,500' with normal cruise on the Mustang 35" & 2350 rpm, indicating 220 kts & 245 ground speed. A-10s were happy with those numbers. Completely clear once we left Waukegan. Autopilot on for the pix, of course! :wink:

Dear USAF: Bet you're glad you kept the Hawg now, aren't you? :finga:

Wish there was this kind of adulation for the A-10s back in the early 80s when I was flying them. We were the b@stard stepchildren of TAC back then. :axe:

Beautiful airplane. Function over form. Easy to fly. I think I still have lingering issues from it!!! :rolleyes:
