Hey everyone,

Just happened to pop over to the Courtesy Aviation site and noticed that several of the AT-6's and SNJ's that were operated for a long time by North American Top Gun (NATG) are up for sale and then upon checking their web address, it also is gone... did they go out of business?

They seemed like they were one of the first touring AT-6 groups and I remember their Northern Tour to NY for many years... in fact, I believe that one of the founders of Warbird Adventures actually started flying originally with NATG.

I guess that's the state of the economy for you...

Thanks,
Ryan

Probably the second-shortest WIX thread ever (I'm sure that some ended with "no")...

I think they closed down a few months back!
If I recall they were priced pretty low but had high time motors.

Same here. I had a great time on my flight. Sad to hear they went under. I was just going to try to schedule a flight for my step-son next year as reward for getting his masters. This really is a big time bummer. Is there anywhere else that offers the same service?

Warbird Adventures in Kissimmee, Florida offers front seat flight instruction in its 3 SNJ Texans. We have have a new three acre facility with two large hangars and year round flights and instructional courses. The weather is perfect so come fly with us.

Chuck,

Didn't you guys have a Northern Location here in Connecticut during the Summer months? I seem to recall seeing that somewhere. And if so, will you return?

The great ChuckStang is now in Addison @ Cavanaughs and is a great IP in the T-6. If he can put up with me, he can live through anything. You will have a great time and bring the GoPro...

To this day, I kick myself about this place. In September of 2011, My wife and I had rented a house in the area for a few days, doing the tourist thing. We were there with my parents, who one day said they were tired and didn't feel like doing anything (I think we'd run them ragged at Sea World the day before). So my wife and drove out toward the airport and I looked in at the airport, not realizing the old Flying Tigers museum was gone. We saw this operation and my wife said she was okay with me going up in a T-6. I didn't have a camera on me, so I said no. To this day, I'm not 100% sure why I turned it down, maybe I thought we'd get back through there before we left when I had my camera with me. Maybe I was just exhausted from dealing with elderly parents and all the tourist stuff...
But anyway, I lost the chance to fly with you guys and I have nobody to blame for that but myself.
