Good god, don't DO that to me. I thought....... well, a header like that often delivers a jolt, that's all.

So what's the deal with Jack? Surely he's not one to boycott, or self-exile, or whatever.....?

Don't call him Shirley, but that's it.

It would be good to see "Jack's back".

It wasn't worth it for the reason he decided to call it a day, IMHO, but unforunately too much of the agenda has been run by the less contributing members, and those that have contributions to make have been asking why bother, with several, Jack, bdk, Brad, etc steering clear for a while, at least.

As usual, I have to wonder what's so difficult about ignoring A/H's, to carry on as if they don't exist? I sure wish people like Jack, et al, wouldn't cede great sites like this to them. :(

James, I don't mean to start any trouble, but Jack left because of some of the mods.

I guess it's our fault for moderating....

Anyone else want to step up and take the arrows? I'm not married to this job...

Zane, I hope you know I'm not trying to start any trouble, it's just what happened. Being a mod is a thankless job I am sure

I you really want to know, who don't take individual decisions. Everything we do is decided as A TEAM. We concluded AS A TEAM that Jack needed to be called upon. Believe me, we ALL like him and we HATED to do it, but Jack is a member like everyone else and has no special privileges. We treat EVERYBODY equal here, believe it or not. If Jack feels he wants to stay away from WIX because we made a request to him, that is HIS decision, and his alone!

IOnce again, I hope you guys know I am not attacking the Mods. I am sure it's not an easy job. I'm just setting the record straight. Just as Jack knows that Pappy Boyington is tops.

Maybe your team needs to RETHINK what side it's playing for.

We aren't playing for any side. The rules are here for everybody, no exceptions.

Being a moderator is a thankless job on any forum, but on WIX it can be downright soul crushing. We have a group of strongly opinionated individuals who feel free to express those opinions. That's as it should be. But no one has the right to force those opinions on others or berate others opinions. If you can't play nice the go play somewhere else. The mods are doing a marvelous job and they don't make decisions lightly. I fully support Zane and his crew. It's solely through their efforts that I am able to get back to updating the registry and the rest of the site. I'm always sorry to see someone leave, but that is ultimately their choice, not ours.
