I thought of a way to brighten up the dullest dreary Friday :D

With some pix from last month and a certain bright yellow trainer

Did I mention it's YELLOW .....

A great view and a nice way to spend some time aloft

My intrepid pilot takes a moment to pose for the camera ~ Thanks again Don :drink3:

Wait a sec, I'll go get my #10 glass, guess you don't need a xpndr, the tower probably tells you 'we could hear you coming for 10 miles'.
Neat airplane!

Fanx Peter...
Gorgeous shots!
If you remember the small airport we did the missed approach to- Dry Creek- well today I was flying over it with a friend in the back seat and lo and behold my compadre with a PT-19 was just taking off.
I called him on the radio and he joined up and I did my first loggable Formation Training.

Serendipity Rules!

Happiness is a Warm Ranger!

Just arrived at Mud Gulley Municipal Airport

1 (One) freshly rebuilt by Joe Denest - Ranger 440

It all started out with the Annual from Hell last Nov.
I have almost forgotten how much fun it was to fly her, but Peters' Pictures brought it all back.

Stay tuned for more updates,

Neat airplane...I've liked them ever since I saw the old COX control-line PT-19 as a kid.

Yeas ago, I was getting off an airliner I noticed the captain had a PT-19 lapel pin. He said he had one...and a few projects.

Likewise I had one of those yellow and blue rubber-banded together COX PT-19 trainers.
I had no idea it was a Fairchild PT-19 when I was a kid.

And look at me now--- As of 1200 hrs. CDT March 27, 2013 I am once again a Moosejaw Belle driver! :supz:

Joe Denest has built another GREAT engine! And Randy Wahlberg and the Air Professionals did a nice "styled out" installation!
:drink3:

It made it through its various times at various RPMs break-in procedure with flying colours!
