Yes I'm back, I got my hand slapped and learned once again some more lessons about internet forums. All I can say is sorry for the interuption. Hopefully I can be good because I know I have a lot to offer to this site. That nonsense aside, I have been honored and very happy to research on the internet over the years several folks who are looking for information about their relatives who served as aviators during ww2. I did it for my dad as well and learned a lot I didn't know. Trust me there are many open holes for many people who want to know details about their relatives that are hard to find. I would like to see some sort of volunteer sticky or area on WIX dedicated to people who need help and people who are willing to help research such information. I enjoy this type of work and I dedicate my time for free as a hobby. I know Jack Cook and he is a very very good man who has more answers than anyone could imagine, I know there's more folks here on WIX as well. There are thousands of people out there who have no idea how to do research to find information on relatives who served during ww2. We can help them and again trust me it's fun to do as well and we also learn about very interesting events that we would never have known if we didn't get involved. PM me anytime if you are interested in getting involved or if you are interested in getting help researching.

M

Tom, you know me, think about it, it"ll come to you, lol ... but no matter, I F*cked up and I got what was right. I'm a hard *ss and will never change that, but I'm also passionate for others who want to know about their relatives. I love the idea of ALL of us here on WIX helping these folks find answers. Most never touch a computer. This is one of our ways of contributing to the "greatest generation" right? and for very little obligation.
