Is this a WIX'er book or what ?? I just received the most incredibly researched and illusrated book any WWII Troop Carrier Squadron ever produced. Hardbound and 778 pages. A most fitting book on my 8 foot book shelf of aviation books!

Incredible book! Written by Seth Washburne. He spent a LOT of time and really got it right. Seth owns two C-47s which are both being restored at VFM by the GGA guys. One of those ships ("Billie") was crewed in combat in the Pacific by Seth's father who was a navigator with the 13th. The other has an extensive ETO combat record. See other WIX threads for more info.

Seth is not a WIXer, but I sure wish he'd sign up!
