Reminds me of the French A-26's I saw just last night in the Burt Lancaster film, "The Train"!

Probably crashed in COLUMBIA somewhere with a load still inside...... On a more serious note, I don't recall this one at all....

Dennis Bradley's A-26 and the second of two ex-Conair Invaders to call CWH home...

When this one was restored by Victoria Air Maintenance it was initially painted in USAAF 319BG markings (blue fin/rudder with large white tailcode, in this case "13"). Dennis had put his Mustang "Old Boy" up for sale and acquired the Invader...somebody out west decided to poke a bit of fun at the CWH prez, so when the Invader arrived at Hamilton it had gained the name "Olde Man" on the nose! The name vanished pretty quickly, and the 319BG markings were replaced by this nice French AF Indochina scheme in time for the next airshow. (Research had turned up a Canadian who had flown with a French Invader unit in Indochina.)

Next owner was David Lane in California.

The two CWH-based Invaders were C-FKBZ/tanker 27 (sold stateside ca.1988) and this one, C-GHLK.
