This may have already been posted at some point, but I stumbled across this and thought I would share. Just over thirteen minutes of imperial japanese footage of B-29's (some indentifiable) shot down on raids over Japan. Also included is footage of japanese fighters scrambling to intercept the raids and towards the end there is also footage of F6F's and F4U's also brought down.

I will warn you that at one point there is a shot of dead B-29 crewmen laid out on the ground. If you find such things not to your liking then give this a pass.

The footage showed the wreckage of Z Square 22, I sent the link to the 73rd Bomb Wing. maybe the family members would be interested in seeing this. If there was some footage of my uncle's B-29 I'd be interested in seeing it.

I honestly wish there was more film to be found and maybe there is. I don't know. The New England Air Museum posted a link to a video this past weekend having to do with Royal Navy Corsair operations on their facebook page. I watched it and as always I glanced through the related videos column afterward.

Saw this video listed, watched it, had a "holy c rap" moment and started posting.
