I just finished reading Bob Dorrs 'Mission to Berlin' (if you don't have it get it! Plead, beg, suggest, threaten, because it belongs next to Jablonskis FLYING FORTRESS on your book shelf) and this brought the book into even sharper focus. Interesting to watch it go full circle from going overseas to returning home afterwards.
THANX so much

Wow, what a find! :drink3:

There was one interesting thing I noticed at about the 36:30 mark of the 100th BG film. A camouflaged B-17!
At first I though "Nah, trick of the light".

But then I saw the starboard wing! The clarity of the square-D makes me think the lighting is just fine.

Anyone have any thoughts or explanations?

OK, but a pink short sleeved shirt and no helmet or headset? Must have been some sort of press junket unless the mission was to attack New Yorks Fire Island.

If you watch the movie, it looks like it was one of the aerial tours many groups gave to their ground echelon after the war.
