I'm a newcomer to this forum - can you provide a (brief) review of where she came from? An early B-17E with the remote belly turret, or a later one with the Sperry ball turret?

TIA

Here is what I have on the history of the airframe...
ImageAerial Visuals - Airframe Dossier - Boeing XC-108A, s/n 41-2595 USAAF, c/n 2406

The last shots contributed to the dossier were in July 2011. If anyone has more recent photos to contribute to the dossier they can be uploaded here...
ImageAerial Visuals - Airframe Photo Upload - XC-108A, s/n 41-2595 USAAF, c/n 2406

Regards,

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
