On July 15/1916 a Timber Baron from Michigan and a Navy Officer incorporated a small company on the East side of Lake Union in a rough and ready little city named Seattle, WA. and named it Pacific Aero Products. That became a fairly famous company now named after it's principal, William Boeing.
