I recently found out that L-3A 42-7797 is in storage un-restored at the Ft. Rucker Army Aviation Museum. One other A is up in Tenn. and will be restored back to flying condition.

Still a little welding to be done but I have begun to install the formers for the stringers along with the elevator push rod guides and one spruce greenhouse former. The elevator pushrod is smooth as silk with those state of the art felt guides. :) Note the small round tubing in a ring around the nose. This tubing supports the boot cowl on the A model and is not present on the B and C model.
