F-105D ser. 61-0069, credited with a MiG-17 kill, was also famous (or infamous) for nose art consisting of a naked lady strategicaly placed on the nose in relation to the refueling receptacle. On another forum a second 105 with a different naked lady in the same relative position has been posted.

I've been familiar with 'Cherry Girl' for years but had never heard of a second 105 so decorated, and called 'possible photoshop' but the person who posted the second (and he is well-respected) said he first saw it in the '90s.

Can anyone here confirm the existence of the second aircraft?

I will post pictures if asked - - - -

The second Thud is 'Pus sy Galore' or 'Pus sy Galore II'... can't recall which offhand. I've always considered it much more well-known than 'Cherry Girl', actually... but I guess it depends on what circles you run in and all that.

Anyhoo, I first saw 'Pus sy Galore' in the old nose art book 'Classy Chassy' which was published in 1977. It's the very last photo inside the book. I do believe it's appeared in other pubs as well, but can't think of any at the moment.

Was there accompanying audio for the boom jockey when he and the girls hooked up?

The flyboys had us beat. We had Carol Doda packing her 44's emblazoned on the front of the milk dispenser in the crew's mess. I doubt if the submarine service would pass muster on such displays these days.
