Just saw this pop up on my Facebook feed from the NMNA; perhaps it might be worth your while to reach out to these families to offer a tour or flight in one of your Beech 18s, to help cement their connection to LTCOL Walters.

At any rate, it's a wonderful and touching story.

That is a good story. I wish I was closer to the families as I would gladly take them up on a flight in the Beech if they wanted to do so. Should they come to our neck of the woods I will give them a SF bay tour in the Beech. I wish I had a WWII Beech or one that was more appropriate but the C-45H will have to do.

Pete Quortrup's SNB-5 would be the best aircraft to take them up in as it is a lot nicer and closer in appearance to a standard WWII Beech than my C-45H. I understand he sold it and I wonder if the new owner might be near the families.

Thanks for the heads up,

Taigh:

That Beech now belongs to James Martin, Odessa, Texas. If the family is near West Texas we can get them n the airplane.

BTW, James has been trying to get in touch with you for months....lots of twin Beech and other light twin questions. Check your emails.
