F4U Folks:

Good day!

Came across a very rare shot of Buno 97388 when in active service as FAH 610! According to the photo caption was taken c. Jul/65. This was the very first F4U-4 delivered to FAH on Nov-1958 by the man himself Mr. Bob F. Bean. Photo via AEC

p.s Some type of armament training is being conducted at the time. FAH 610 was prob out of service during the 1969 100 Hrs war.

F4U-4 Folks:

Good day!

While looking a bit beat-up c.1965, this interesting sample happens to be F4U #9 that our poc T.R once mentioned to us sometime ago. It looks like it was used for grd training purposes. It was last seen Aug-77 with its wings folded at the FAH Boneyard.

p.s Still missing F4U-4 FAH 611!

I recall seeing photos long ago of the FAH boneyard. Impressive!

Hi there Z :)

I think it was in Air Classics. Which other countries in Central or South America besides Honduras operated the Corsair? I might have the wrong boneyard.

Good day!
