After numerous behind the scenes discussions with the Col, I have decided to give him a second...er... third... er... fourth chance and allow him to return to WIX. I think a 6 year ban is long enough. He is back as a probationary member for now. If anyone has issues with his return please send me a PM.

Also, if anybody wants to advocate for certain banned members to have there ban lifted then PM me and we can discuss it.

O.K. Dave, that's funny right there.

I lurked here when colonel "Roar" used to frequent the place.
Always glad to have knowledgeable input.

On a related note.I'd love to hear some first hand input, from the operator of a certain 2 seat Spitfire, that has also enjoyed a few bans :D

Always welcoming, :drinkers:

Andy

Welcome back Rob!

I must have had a premonition - I got these ads from '53 and '54 Mar Vista (Imperial Beach) CA high school yearbooks just the other day:
Image
B-50 46-026, which made an unschedued stop (bad cylinder) at Limestone AFB in Maine in November 1950 while on a classified nuke-carrying mission - nice tie-in...

Big difference between '53 and '54, no?

At least the "Colonel" never called me a baby killer for having the nerve to serve in the USAF for 20 years.
BTW: For those of us who came in late, is the Colonel (BTW: is he one) from the Rohr firm?

Sounds like the board might get fun again. Not a bad idea.

No to both, the first is a long (ish) story best left in the misty past

Just ventilate well; avoid prolonged exposure and direct contact with skin.

Crazy things happen...
